What this site does with your data.
Short, because the site does very little. Everything below can be checked by reading the page source.
Nothing is stored on your device
This site sets no cookies. It writes nothing to local storage. There is no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel and no third party script of any kind. Nobody is counting your visit, which also means we cannot tell you how many people read this.
Nothing you type is sent anywhere
The two forms on this site, the monthly list and the enquiry, run entirely in your browser. They are not connected to a mailing system. When you submit one it shows you what to send and to whom; nothing leaves the page. Until that changes, the only way we receive anything from you is if you choose to send an email.
One third party is contacted
The typefaces are served by Google Fonts, from
fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Loading
them tells Google your IP address and your browser. That is the only request
this site makes to anybody other than its own server. If you would rather it made
none, say so and the fonts will be served from our own domain instead.
If you email us
Then we hold your message and your address, in an ordinary mailbox, for as long as the conversation is useful. We do not sell it, rent it or pass it to anybody outside the company. Ask for it to be deleted and it will be.
Who to ask
Write to info@marcopolojp.com with the word PRIVACY. A buyer in the European Union has rights of access, correction, deletion and objection under the GDPR, and that address is where to exercise them.
This page will be replaced with a fuller notice naming the registered company and its data controller once Marco Polo Japan's registration details are confirmed. It is not a substitute for that, and it does not pretend to be.
What leaves Japan this month.
Once a month: the prices that moved, the reason they moved, and what we can allocate before it is spoken for. Written for people who buy, by the people doing the buying.
Buyers and distributors only. We do not sell the list and you can leave in one click.
